Remaining Shield Max is applied to the door panel behind the speaker to absorb backwaves and further improve performance.

Speaker foam strips applied around the mounting surface create a secondary airtight seal between the speaker and the mounting plate. Sound snakes, suited to speakers up to 8 inches, attach around the front lip of the speaker and seal against the door trim panel, directing all audio into the cabin rather than losing it behind the trim. Door clip foam rings fit around the door clips to eliminate rattles between the door and door trim panel. All components are self-adhesive for straightforward peel-and-stick installation.
