A 750W 5-channel Full-Range Class-D car amplifier delivering 100W x 4 plus 350W x 1 at 2-ohm (CTA-2006 rated). Features independent front, rear, and subwoofer channel crossover control, Continuously Variable Punch EQ, variable infrasonic filter, C.L.E.A.N. gain calibration with per-channel output clip indicators, Rollback Protection, NOMAD speaker protection, RLC remote level control, and 2/4/5 channel input selection. Designed and engineered in Tempe, Arizona. Backed by a 1 year warranty.
The Rockford Fosgate R2-750X5 is a 750W 5-channel Full-Range Class-D car amplifier from the Prime R2 series, providing a complete single-amplifier solution for powering both car speakers and a subwoofer from the one unit. Rated continuous power is 50W x 4 plus 200W x 1 at 4-ohm, or 100W x 4 plus 350W x 1 at 2-ohm (CTA-2006, less than 1.0% THD+N). Dynamic power via PowerCube reaches 70W x 4 plus 241W x 1 at 4-ohm, and 114W x 4 plus 426W x 1 at 2-ohm. The front and rear full-range channels can also be bridged to 200W x 2 at 4-ohm.
The R2-750X5 provides fully independent crossover control for the front, rear, and subwoofer channels, each with their own high-pass and low-pass crossover adjustments at 12dB/octave Butterworth (50Hz-250Hz) plus a variable infrasonic filter on the subwoofer channel (15Hz-40Hz). A 2/4/5 channel input selection switch enables flexible integration with source units providing different numbers of RCA outputs, working for both RCA and high-level inputs. Three dedicated sets of RCA and high-level inputs cover front, rear, and subwoofer channels separately, with independent gain adjustment per channel group.
C.L.E.A.N. (Calibrated Level Eliminates Audible Noise) provides independent input and output clip indicators for front, rear, and subwoofer channel groups. A Continuously Variable onboard Punch EQ delivers up to 18dB of bass boost at 45Hz on the subwoofer channel. An RLC remote level control is included for in-cabin subwoofer volume adjustment. Rollback Protection, NOMAD speaker protection, and MEHSA4 heat management are all active. Cast aluminium heatsink with convection cooling. Designed and engineered in Tempe, Arizona.
Complete 5-Channel Car Audio System in One Amplifier: The R2-750X5 powers front speakers, rear speakers, and a subwoofer from a single unit, making it a space-efficient and cost-effective solution for full car audio builds without the need for two separate amplifiers.
Independent Crossover Control for Each Channel Group: Front, rear, and subwoofer channel groups each have independent high-pass and low-pass crossover controls at 12dB/octave Butterworth (50Hz-250Hz), plus a variable infrasonic filter (15Hz-40Hz) on the subwoofer channel and independent gain adjustment per group.
2/4/5 Channel Input Selection Switch: The input selection switch allows the R2-750X5 to integrate with source units providing 2, 4, or 5 channels of RCA output, working for both RCA and high-level inputs, removing the need for Y-cables in installations with fewer RCA outputs.
Continuously Variable Punch EQ - Up to 18dB at 45Hz: The onboard Punch EQ provides up to 18dB of continuously adjustable bass boost at 45Hz on the subwoofer channel, enabling subwoofer output to be tuned to the acoustic environment without a separate EQ or DSP.
Variable Infrasonic Filter - 15Hz to 40Hz Tunable: The subwoofer channel infrasonic filter is tunable from 15Hz to 40Hz at 12dB/octave, providing precise low-frequency protection across different subwoofer drivers and enclosure types.
C.L.E.A.N. Technology - Per-Channel Clip Monitoring: C.L.E.A.N. provides separate input and output clip indicator LEDs for front, rear, and subwoofer channel groups independently, enabling accurate gain calibration across all five channels.
RLC Remote Level Control Included: An RLC remote level control is included for in-cabin subwoofer output adjustment without returning to the amplifier.
Rollback Protection and NOMAD Speaker Protection: Rollback Protection dynamically manages output to prevent thermal stress on output devices during sustained high-output conditions. NOMAD provides real-time protection against shorted speaker wires and dangerously low impedances.

The R2-750X5 suits a wide range of car audio installations requiring a single-unit 5-channel amplifier solution for speakers and a subwoofer. The 2/4/5 channel input switch makes it compatible with most factory and aftermarket source units.
Goes Well With:
What is the difference between the R2-750X5 and the M2-750X5?
Both are 750W 5-channel Full-Range Class-D amplifiers with identical power ratings, the same 2/4/5 channel input switch, Punch EQ, variable infrasonic filter, and RLC remote. The M2-750X5 is from the M2 Element Ready marine series with conformal-coated PCB, UV stable powder-coated heatsink, zinc nickel-plated marine brass terminals, and Auto-Sense turn-on suited to marine and outdoor environments. The R2-750X5 is from the Prime R2 car audio series with a cast aluminium heatsink and standard car audio terminals. Choose the R2-750X5 for car audio; choose the M2-750X5 for marine or outdoor powersports applications.
What does the 2/4/5 channel input selection switch do?
The input selection switch configures the R2-750X5 to accept 2, 4, or 5 channels of RCA or high-level input. In 2-channel mode, the single front RCA pair feeds all five channels internally. In 4-channel mode, separate front and rear RCA pairs are used independently. In 5-channel mode, all three RCA input pairs (front, rear, sub) are used for full independent channel control. This removes the need for Y-cables when the source unit has fewer RCA outputs.
What fuse does the R2-750X5 require and is it included?
The R2-750X5 requires a 120A fuse, which is not included and must be sourced separately. Install the fuse as close to the battery as possible in the 4 AWG power supply line. The maximum sinewave current draw is 71A.
Can I add a subwoofer to this amplifier without a separate mono amp?
Yes. The R2-750X5 includes a dedicated subwoofer channel rated at 350W RMS at 2-ohm. This eliminates the need for a separate monoblock amplifier in most builds. The included RLC remote level control allows subwoofer volume to be adjusted from the cabin without accessing the amplifier.
Is the R2-750X5 compatible with a factory OEM head unit?
Yes. The high-level (speaker-level) inputs accept 450mV to 12V, allowing direct connection to OEM head unit speaker outputs without RCA outputs. The 2/4/5 channel input switch further simplifies integration by allowing the amplifier to work with source units that have limited or no RCA outputs.
