Which option do I need?

Will it fit my vehicle?

Car Builders cut it for the 2019 onwards third generation Isuzu D-MAX dual cab. Car Builders do not list earlier D-MAX models or other cab styles for this mat.

How to install

Difficulty: Easy. It lays straight into the tub, no tools needed.

  1. Empty the D-MAX tub and get rid of loose stones and dirt.
  2. Drop the mat in and push it forward until it meets the headboard.
  3. Press it into the corrugations and around the arches so it lies flat.
  4. On the flap cut, fold the flap in before you close up.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Ordering for a pre 2019 D-MAX. This cut is for the third generation.
  • Shutting the tailgate before the flap is folded in.
  • Leaving grit under the mat.

Is the mat cut for a 2018 D-MAX?

Not as listed. Car Builders list the 2019 onwards third generation D-MAX dual cab only, so we cannot promise fit on earlier models.

Can I get this D-MAX mat in vinyl instead of carpet?

Car Builders sell a separate heavy duty vinyl mat with 10mm waterproof foam backing for the D-MAX. This listing is the marine carpet one.

Is the D-MAX flap cut worth it?

Yes, if you want the open tailgate covered. The flap carries the mat over the open tailgate to protect it, and folds away to shut the tailgate.

How is it held in?

By its own anti slip rubber backing. There are no fasteners to fit.

Is it hard to keep clean?

No. Lift it, wash it with a pressure washer or vacuum it, and drop it back in.
