It includes every component required for a professional aftermarket head unit installation 2DIN radio panel, CAN-BUS steering wheel control adaptor with SWC patch lead, antenna adaptor, AUX retention, mounting brackets, and replacement hazard and central locking buttons.

Please note: This kit suits non-navigation Ford Ranger PX models only. Navigation-equipped PX Ranger variants use a different dash configuration and are not compatible with this kit.

No. The HRFO001 is designed for non-navigation Ford Ranger PX models only. If your Ranger has a factory navigation system, this kit is not compatible — contact the F.A.E. team for the correct solution for your vehicle.

Does this kit retain factory steering wheel controls?

Yes. The HRFO001 includes a CAN-BUS steering wheel control adaptor and SWC patch lead that retains factory steering wheel audio controls with compatible aftermarket head units.

Why are hazard and central locking buttons included?

On the Ford Ranger PX, the hazard and central locking buttons are integrated into the factory fascia surround. When the factory surround is replaced with the new 2DIN panel, replacement buttons are required to maintain these functions. They are included in the kit as standard.

Is USB retention included alongside AUX?

No. The HRFO001 includes AUX retention only. USB retention is not included — if factory USB connectivity is required, an additional retention module will need to be sourced separately.

Does this kit include a head unit?

No. The HRFO001 is a radio replacement kit — it includes everything needed to install an aftermarket head unit, but the head unit itself must be purchased separately.
