Fitting it

Choose the spot with the phone off and the engine off. Clean it with the alcohol wipe, let it dry, then press the base down firmly and hold for 30 seconds. Leave it 24 hours before loading the mount, and keep it clear of airbags.

Questions we get asked

Can I remove the Quad Lock Dash Mount later?

Yes. Warm the base and work it off slowly with fishing line or dental floss. Use the spare pad if you want to refit it somewhere else.

Will the adhesive hold on a hot Australian dashboard?

3M VHB tape is made for automotive use. Stick it on a clean, smooth hard surface and give it 24 hours to cure before you load it.

Is there a spare adhesive pad?

Yes. A spare 3M VHB pad and an alcohol wipe come in the box.

Can I put the Quad Lock Wireless Charging Head on this mount?

Yes, on Dash and Console Mounts bought after July 2022.

Should I use the dash mount or the vent mount?

Use the dash mount if you want a fixed spot and the vents free for air. Use the vent mount if you move between cars or do not want anything stuck on.
