Will it fit my setup?

• Not for leather, unsealed wood, fabric, soft touch or textured finishes

Fitting it

Clean the surface with a damp cloth and let it dry. Press the base on and flip the lever to lock it. Keep it clear of airbags and other safety features. Add a 360 Arm and Head to finish the build.

Questions we get asked

Will the Quad Lock Suction Base stick to a textured dashboard?

No. It needs a smooth, non porous surface. Soft touch, rough or textured finishes, leather, fabric and unsealed wood are not suitable.

Will the Quad Lock Suction Base let go in the heat?

It is rated to hold without loss of suction from minus 10°C to 50°C ambient. Glass in direct Australian sun can run hotter, so check the lever is locked before you drive on very hot days.

Can I use the Quad Lock Suction Base on a motorcycle?

Quad Lock does not recommend it for motorcycles, scooters, ATVs or anything with high vibration or constant exposure to the weather.

What else do I need with the Quad Lock 360 Suction Base?

A 360 Arm and a Head. The arm gives the lever room to lock and unlock. The exception is the 360 Action Camera Head, which clears the lever without an arm.

How much weight can the Quad Lock Suction Base hold?

Up to 1.2kg.

Can I use the Quad Lock Suction Base on a boat?

Yes. It suits fibreglass with gelcoat or marine paint and smooth glass or acrylic, and Quad Lock recommends it for boats, caravans and light aircraft.
