Fitting it

Fit the case from one top corner and work round to the bottom. To mount, push it onto a Quad Lock head at 45 degrees and twist a quarter turn until it clicks. Push the blue lever or collar down and twist back to remove it.

Questions we get asked

Will the QLC-IPX fit the iPhone XR?

No. This Original case is shaped for the iPhone X/XS only. The iPhone XR has a different body and camera layout, so this one will not sit right on it.

How do I check my phone is an iPhone X/XS before ordering the QLC-IPX?

Go to Settings, General, About, then look at Model Name. It has a 5.8 inch screen. It came out in 2017. If it shows iPhone X/XS, the QLC-IPX is the right Original case.

Will the QLC-IPX work on a Quad Lock MAG mount?

No. The Original Case uses the twist lock only. If you want magnetic mounting for your iPhone X/XS, get the MAG Case QMC-IPX instead.

Is there a screen protector that fits under the QLC-IPX?

Yes. The Quad Lock ANX-GSP-IPX tempered glass protector suits the iPhone X/XS and is cut to sit under the QLC-IPX.

How heavy is the QLC-IPX?

Quad Lock lists the QLC-IPX at about 56g, so it adds very little to your iPhone X/XS.

Will my iPhone X/XS still charge wirelessly in the QLC-IPX?

Yes. The QLC-IPX is made to work with wireless chargers, so your iPhone X/XS still charges through it, including on the Quad Lock wireless charging heads.
