The OEX ACX1344 is a nylon 66 cable gland supplied in a pack of 2, providing a waterproof and secure cable entry point through panels, enclosures and junction boxes. Rated IP68 for full submersion protection and UL approved. Suits conduit and cable diameters of 18 to 25mm with a 32mm mounting hole, 25mm internal diameter and 14.7mm thread length the largest size in the OEX cable gland range, suited to large conduit runs and heavy multi-cable entries. Covered by a one year warranty.
The ACX1344 is the largest gland in the OEX cable gland range, stepping up from the ACX1343 (13 to 18mm, 25mm hole) to a 32mm mounting hole and 18 to 25mm cable and conduit range. It accommodates large conduit runs, 21.1mm convoluted tubing, very heavy multi-core cables and thick cable bundles at the top of the OEX range. At this size, installations typically require only one or two glands per panel entry point, which is reflected in the pack of 2 format.
The IP68 rating confirms full sealing against dust and continuous water submersion under pressure. The nylon 66 construction is UL approved for chemical resistance and dimensional stability. The 32mm mounting hole is the largest in the OEX gland range and will require a hole saw or step drill to prepare in most panel materials. The 14.7mm thread length limits suitability to panels within that thickness confirm panel thickness before installation.
IP68 rated: Fully sealed against dust and continuous water submersion under pressure, the highest standard ingress protection rating, suited to marine, submerged and fully exposed outdoor applications.
UL approved nylon 66: High-strength, chemically resistant nylon 66 material meeting UL approval standards for cable gland applications.
Suits 18 to 25mm cable and conduit largest in the OEX range: Accommodates large conduit, heavy multi-core cables and thick cable bundles at the top of the OEX cable gland range.
32mm mounting hole: The largest mounting hole in the OEX gland range a hole saw or step drill will typically be required to prepare this hole in panel materials.
25mm internal diameter: Large cable passage bore for heavy conduit runs and thick cable bundles.
14.7mm thread length: Provides secure panel engagement confirm panel thickness is within this measurement before installation.
Pack of 2: Suited to installations requiring a small number of large-diameter glands, reflecting the typical usage pattern at this size.
One year warranty: Covered by a one year OEX warranty.

What is a cable gland used for? A cable gland is a fitting that provides a secure, sealed entry point for a cable or conduit passing through a panel or enclosure wall. It clamps around the cable to prevent movement and chafing, while the sealing mechanism prevents moisture, dust and contaminants from entering through the cable opening.
What does IP68 mean? IP68 is an ingress protection rating indicating the fitting is fully sealed against dust (6) and protected against continuous immersion in water under pressure (8). It is the highest standard IP rating, suited to marine, submerged and fully exposed outdoor applications.
What cable or conduit sizes does this gland suit? This gland suits cables and conduit with an outer diameter of 18 to 25mm. Confirm the cable or conduit outer diameter falls within this range before purchasing to ensure a correct seal.
What size hole does this gland require and does panel thickness matter? The gland requires a 32mm mounting hole. A hole saw or step drill will typically be required to prepare this hole in panel materials. The thread length is 14.7mm, so confirm panel thickness is within this measurement before installation to ensure the locknut engages correctly.
How does the ACX1344 compare to the smaller glands in the OEX range? The ACX1344 is the largest gland in the OEX range, suited to 18 to 25mm cable with a 32mm mounting hole. For smaller cables, the ACX1343 suits 13 to 18mm with a 25mm hole, the ACX1342 suits 10 to 14mm with a 20mm hole, the ACX1341 suits 5 to 10mm with a 16mm hole, and the ACX1340 suits 3 to 6.5mm with a 12mm hole. Select the gland that matches your cable or conduit outer diameter and panel hole size.
