The Hema HX-Box is a compact GPS navigation module that connects to your vehicle's existing wired Apple CarPlay or Android Auto head unit, adding wireless CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity alongside the full Hema Nav premium navigation platform. Powered by a Qualcomm SM6115 octa-core processor with Android 13, 6GB RAM, and 64GB onboard storage, the HX-Box delivers smooth, responsive navigation and app performance directly through your factory or aftermarket infotainment screen.

The included 3-year Hema Nav subscription provides comprehensive on and off-road navigation for Australia and New Zealand, featuring a dynamic 3D Hema Explorer Map, HERE Technologies turn-by-turn route guidance with live traffic, off-road track guidance for remote destinations, over 1.8 million Points of Interest including campsites, fuel stops, and caravan parks, and 1.75 million kilometres of mapped roads and tracks. Quarterly map and software updates are delivered via Wi-Fi throughout the subscription period.

The Hema 4WD Maps app is also accessible through the HX-Box, providing digitised versions of Hema's iconic printed maps, award-winning regional 4WD content, track recording, waypoints, and route plotting for extended off-road adventures. A separate subscription is required for the 4WD Maps app. Integration with Memory-Map enables access to digital versions of Hema's printed maps and maps from multiple providers.
