Product Overview

The Gator GT700SD is a complete heavy duty reverse camera kit designed for commercial vehicles, trucks, 4WDs, and industrial equipment. The kit includes a 7-inch commercial grade display with an adjustable metal U-bracket, high/low voltage cut-off, and circuit protection paired with the GT14SD compact heavy duty camera with 10 infrared LEDs for 0 lux night vision.

The PROLINK II screw connection cable system provides dust and waterproof connections throughout a step above the push-fit connectors used in standard car audio-grade kits. Three video inputs allow up to two additional cameras to be added for comprehensive all-round coverage.

Unlike most Gator monitors in this range, the GT700SD monitor supports both image flip and reverse (mirror) image allowing the display to be configured for the driver's preferred orientation.

Battery safety note: The IR remote includes a CR2025 coin cell battery. Keep button/coin cell batteries out of reach of children.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this kit include image flip and mirror image?

Yes — the GT700SD is one of the few Gator monitors in this range that supports both image flip (selectable) and reverse mirror image. This makes it more versatile than the GRV43KT, GRV50KT, and GT43OEM monitors which do not have this feature.

Can I add more cameras to this system?

Yes. The GT700SD monitor has three video inputs — the included camera uses one, leaving two free for additional cameras such as a second rear camera, side cameras, or a front camera.

Is this kit suitable for 24V commercial trucks?

Yes. Both the monitor and kit are 12V/24V compatible, making the GT700SD suitable for large commercial vehicles, buses, and heavy equipment alongside standard 12V cars and 4WDs.

What does high/low voltage cut-off mean?

The monitor includes built-in voltage protection that automatically cuts off if the input voltage exceeds the maximum threshold (high cut-off) or drops below the minimum threshold (low cut-off) — protecting the monitor and connected cameras from damage caused by voltage spikes or battery drain.
