What problems does this Ranger cargo mat fix?

• Gear sliding around on a bare plastic liner. The carpet face gives loads something to grip, and the rubber backing keeps the mat itself from creeping like unbacked mats do.
• Scuffed liner and hard edges. The mat covers the whole floor of the tub, so tools, bags and camping gear sit on carpet instead of plastic.
• Nowhere decent to sit on the tailgate. The flap option runs 100mm past the end of the open tailgate, giving a more comfortable seat and a smooth path over the tailgate gap.
• Mats that never come clean. Lift it out after a dirty job, pressure wash or vacuum it, and drop it back in.

How it works

The mat is cut to the shape of the Next Gen Ranger tub floor. Its solution dyed carpet face wears well, and the rubber underside holds onto the Ranger's plastic liner without bolts or clips.

Which option do I need?

One mat per Ranger does the whole tub floor. Pick your model, Ford Ranger including Raptor or Ford Ranger PHEV, then pick Cargo Only, which finishes at the tailgate, or Cargo with Tailgate Flap, which extends 100mm past the open tailgate. The flap has to be folded away to close the tailgate.

Will it fit my vehicle?

How to install

Difficulty: Easy. One person can lay it in a couple of minutes, no tools.

1. Clear the Ranger tub and blow out any dust so the rubber backing lies flat on the factory liner.
2. Feed the mat in from the tailgate, butt the front edge against the headboard and press it into the liner ribs.
3. Square it up around the arches and tie down points.
4. With the flap version, fold the flap back on itself before you shut the tailgate.

Mistakes to avoid

• Ordering the PHEV cut for a diesel Ranger or the other way round. Check the Model option.
• Closing the tailgate on the flap. Fold it away first.
• Laying it over sand or grit, which wears the backing and lets it move.

Is there a version for the Ranger PHEV?

Yes. Choose Ford Ranger PHEV in the Model option.

What is the Tailgate Flap option for?

It extends 100mm past the end of the tailgate when it is open. You get a softer seat, an easier slide for loads over the gap, and a protective flap when you carry long items. Fold it away to close the tailgate.

Does it need clips or holes in the liner?

No. Nothing is drilled or clipped. The anti slip rubber underneath grips the factory liner.

Can I hose it out after a muddy weekend?

Yes. Take it out and pressure wash it, or vacuum it if it is just dusty, then lay it back in once dry.
