Product features

Quick answer: Ordinary foil tape on Van Liner lifts or wrinkles as the van heats and cools, and the joins stand out. Van Liner Tape is made from the same reflective PET film as the liner, so it moves with it and matches the finish. Use it to butt join sheets, repair tears and leave a clean, even finish. Each roll is 38mm x 25m.

What problems does the Van Liner Tape fix?

  • Tape lifting or wrinkling on a van liner. It is the same material as the liner, so it moves with it through heat and cold.
  • Visible, mismatched joins. The reflective PET face matches the liner.
  • Torn liner during the fit out. Patch tears with a strip of tape.

How it works

Because the tape uses the exact film as the Van Liner, the two expand and contract at the same rate, so the join stays flat. The acrylic adhesive holds to the liner face.

How much do I need?

One roll is 25m. Add up the length of every butt join and allow some for repairs.

How to install

Difficulty: Easy.

  1. Butt the two Van Liner sheets together with no gap.
  2. Wipe the liner surface clean and dry.
  3. Lay the tape centred over the join, working from one end.
  4. Rub it down firmly so there are no air pockets.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Overlapping sheets instead of butting them.
  • Laying tape on a dusty liner.
