This 30m roll of 1.8m wide masking film comes in a dispenser with the tape already fixed along the edge. Stick the tape on, unfold the film down the panel and cut it off with the built in cutter. It protects everything you are not painting from overspray and dust.

How it works

The film is folded on the roll with tape along one edge. Run the tape along the edge you want masked, then let the static film unfold down to a height of up to 1.8m and cling to the surface. Cut it off with the built in cutter.

How to install

Difficulty: Easy.

  1. Clean and dry the edge where the tape will sit.
  2. Run the pre taped edge along the line you want to protect.
  3. Unfold the film down over the area. It is static and clings to the surface.
  4. Cut it to length with the built in cutter.
  5. Paint, then peel the film and tape off together.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Taping onto a dusty or wet edge.
  • Leaving gaps between runs of film.
  • Pulling the film too tight so the tape lifts.
