Product Overview

The Stinger TCMITSUKIT is a wireless trailer camera kit designed for select Mitsubishi vehicles fitted with an 8-pin Mitsubishi camera connector at the back of the factory radio. It makes reversing a caravan, horse float, or trailer straightforward without running video cabling through or along the rig.

The Echomaster PCAM-WLP wireless camera transmits video up to 45 metres (without obstacles) to a receiver installed behind the dashboard, powered directly from the trailer's reverse lights. When the trailer is connected and reverse is engaged, the trailer camera automatically overrides the factory OEM reverse camera. When the trailer is disconnected, the factory camera resumes normal operation. If no factory camera is fitted, an aftermarket reverse camera can be integrated using this kit.

The bundle includes the PCAM-WLP wireless camera, PAC PACAVS-21 audio/video switching unit, and the vehicle-specific Mitsubishi 8-pin harness (AXBUCH-MI6V). Compatible vehicles span the ASX, Challenger, Lancer (including Evolution), Outlander, Pajero, Pajero Sport, and Triton covering both MQ and MR Triton generations. Note: the kit is not fully plug-and-play the factory connector terminates in bare wires and some wiring is required.
