A high-quality antenna adaptor converting the factory OEM antenna plug to a standard DIN connection covers 22 GM-platform and related models across Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, Hummer, Pontiac, Proton, and Suzuki from 1984 to 2011.
The Stinger STBAA3 is a vehicle-specific antenna adaptor for select GM-platform and other vehicles, allowing the factory OEM antenna connector to be connected to the standard DIN antenna input on aftermarket head units. Plug-and-play no cutting or modification required.
Please note: The STBAA3 and STBAA4B appear to cover the same vehicle compatibility range. Contact the F.A.E. team to confirm which part number is required for your specific installation before ordering.

Does this adaptor fit all Chevrolet and GM vehicles?
No. The STBAA3 is designed for the specific models and year ranges listed above. For other GM or Chevrolet models not listed, a different antenna adaptor may be required — contact the F.A.E. team to confirm.
What is the difference between the STBAA3 and the STBAA4B?
Both the STBAA3 and STBAA4B are listed for the same vehicles. Contact the F.A.E. team to confirm which SKU is correct for your installation before ordering.
Is this a plug-and-play adaptor?
Yes. The STBAA3 connects the factory OEM antenna plug to a standard DIN connection without any cutting or modification to the factory antenna cable.
Do I need this adaptor if I already have an ISO wiring harness?
Yes, in most cases. An ISO wiring harness handles the power and audio wiring connections. The antenna adaptor is a separate requirement — it handles only the antenna signal cable. Both are typically needed for a complete head unit installation.
Why does the Proton Jumbuck appear in a GM adaptor list?
The Proton Jumbuck (Arena) was based on the GM Chevrolet S10/Blazer platform and shares the same factory antenna connector type as the GM vehicles on this list — hence its inclusion.
