The Stinger ST27AA06 converts the factory single Fakra male antenna connector to a standard male DIN plug for aftermarket head units. Unlike the ST27AA14, the ST27AA06 is a passive (non-amplified) adaptor suited to vehicles where active signal boosting is not required.

Vehicle-specific installation notes:

  • BMW 3 Series E46 (1997–2005): Suits 2002–2005 models only. Earlier E46 models (pre-2002) require the ST27AA01 instead

What is the difference between the ST27AA06 and the ST27AA14?

Both adaptors convert a Fakra male connector to a standard DIN male plug. The ST27AA14 is amplified — it includes active signal boosting.
