The SPXSH440 SwitchHUB from Stinger is a solid state 4 channel relay block providing four independent outputs with thermal overload and short circuit protection, built-in LED status indicators, and IPX6-rated construction for marine and off-road PowerSports applications. Compatible with the Stinger SPXM1 PowerSports and marine infotainment system for onscreen device control. Replaces up to four conventional mechanical relays in a single compact unit.
The SPXSH440 provides one 40 amp output and three 20 amp outputs for a total of 100 amp continuous output, allowing control of high-current devices including lighting, amplifiers, pumps, compressors, and other accessories from a single relay block. Each channel accepts either a negative or positive low-current trigger input from aftermarket switches. Note that negative and positive trigger inputs cannot be used simultaneously on the same channel.
Solid state relays operate silently and produce minimal interference compared to conventional mechanical relays, which can generate electrical noise and fail after extended use. Each output includes thermal overload and short circuit protection, and built-in LED indicators show active, inactive, and fault status for each channel at a glance. Precision grub screw terminals provide secure, reliable wiring connections. The IPX6-rated construction is suited to marine and off-road environments.
When connected to the Stinger SPXM1, the SPXSH440 enables onscreen control of up to four connected devices directly from the SPXM1 display, with a dedicated switch panel button showing all four device statuses simultaneously.
4 channel solid state relay block: Replaces up to four conventional mechanical relays in a single compact unit, simplifying installation wiring and eliminating the electrical noise and failure risk associated with mechanical relays.
100 amp continuous total output: One 40 amp output and three 20 amp outputs provide 100 amp continuous total capacity, supporting a wide range of high-current accessories including lighting, amplifiers, pumps, and compressors.
Thermal overload and short circuit protection per channel: Each of the four output channels includes individual thermal overload and short circuit protection for superior protection of connected equipment.
Negative and positive trigger inputs per channel: Each channel accepts either negative or positive low-current trigger input from aftermarket switches. Negative and positive triggers cannot be used simultaneously on the same channel.
Built-in LED status indicators: Active, inactive, thermal overload, and short circuit status LEDs provide at-a-glance monitoring of all four channels without requiring additional test equipment.
IPX6-rated construction: The IPX6-rated enclosure withstands water spray for reliable performance in marine and off-road PowerSports environments.
Compatible with Stinger SPXM1: Connects to the SPXM1 PowerSports and marine infotainment system for onscreen control of all four connected devices directly from the SPXM1 display.
Precision grub screw terminals: Precision grub screw wiring terminals provide secure, reliable connections at all input and output connection points.

What devices can the SPXSH440 control?
The SPXSH440 can control any high-current accessory with a compatible trigger input, including lighting, amplifiers, pumps, compressors, and other accessories up to the output rating of each channel (40A or 20A). Total continuous output across all four channels is 100A.
Can I use both negative and positive triggers on the same channel?
No. Each channel accepts either a negative or positive low-current trigger input. Negative and positive triggers cannot be used simultaneously on the same channel.
Does the SPXSH440 work with the Stinger SPXM1?
Yes. The SPXSH440 is compatible with the Stinger SPXM1 PowerSports and marine infotainment system, enabling onscreen control of all four connected devices directly from the SPXM1 display with a dedicated switch panel button showing all device statuses simultaneously.
Why use a solid state relay instead of a conventional mechanical relay?
Solid state relays operate silently and produce minimal electrical interference compared to conventional mechanical relays, which can generate noise that affects audio systems and other sensitive electronics. Solid state relays also do not have moving parts, reducing the risk of failure from extended use.
Is the SPXSH440 suitable for marine use?
Yes. The IPX6-rated construction withstands water spray, making the SPXSH440 suitable for marine and wet outdoor applications. Confirm installation location and protection requirements before ordering.
