What is the difference between the SPT5104B and the SPT5104R?
Both are 25-packs of PRO Series 4GA Shoc-Krome ring terminals with 5/16-inch rings. The SPT5104B is black — for negative (ground) connections. The SPT5104R is red — for positive (power) connections. Order both for a complete workshop stock covering positive and negative 4GA terminations.
What is the difference between the SPT5104B and the SPT5104?
The SPT5104 is a 4-pack retail option with 2 red and 2 black terminals. The SPT5104B is a 25-pack of black terminals only — suited to workshop or commercial installer bulk stock.
Do I need a crimp tool?
Yes. A heavy-duty ratchet crimp tool suitable for 4GA wire is required.
What is the 5/16-inch ring size?
5/16 inch is the standard inner ring diameter for car audio distribution blocks, battery terminals, and amplifier power/ground connections.
Can these be used for positive power connections?
Electrically yes, but the black colour convention indicates negative (ground). For positive power connections, use the SPT5104R (red, 25-pack) to maintain standard polarity identification.
