The Stinger SPD8120 is a PRO Series AGU fused distribution block that combines power distribution and per-output fusing in a single compact unit. It accepts a single 4GA input and provides two fused 8GA outputs each with its own AGU fuse position for individual amplifier protection. AGU fuses from 5A to 60A are compatible.

The clear acrylic high-temperature base and screen-printed snap-off top cover allow visual fuse inspection without tools. Shoc-Krome chrome plating resists corrosion. Oversized set screws and deep wire recesses provide secure, professional termination.

Fuses are not included.

What is an AGU fuse?

An AGU fuse is a glass tube fuse in a cylindrical format, typically rated from 5A to 60A. They are widely used in car audio for protecting lower to mid-powered amplifier power connections. The AGU format is different from ANL (for 0GA, higher current) and MIDI/mini ANL (for 4GA, mid-range current).

What is the difference between the SPD8120 and the SHD820?

Both are fused distribution blocks with one input and two fused outputs. The SPD8120 uses AGU fuses (5–60A) and connects 4GA input to two 8GA outputs — suited to lower-powered builds. The SHD820 uses MIDI, AFS, or Mini ANL fuses (30–175A) and connects 1/0GA or 4GA input to two 4GA or 8GA outputs — suited to higher-powered builds.

Are fuses included?

No. AGU fuses must be purchased separately. Select the fuse rating appropriate to each amplifier — the correct value will be stated in the amplifier's installation manual.

Is this block suitable for ground distribution as well?

Yes. Like other Stinger distribution blocks, the SPD8120 can be used on either the power or ground side of the installation.

Can I inspect the fuses without tools?

Yes. The screen-printed snap-off top cover is designed for quick removal by hand, allowing visual fuse inspection and replacement without tools.
