The Stinger SPD510 is a PRO Series 8 gauge T-distribution block providing three 8GA ports in a compact T-block form factor. It can be used to split or join power or ground connections at the 8GA level connecting one input to two outputs, or daisy-chaining multiple T-blocks together for more complex distribution.

Oversized set screws ensure maximum contact and vibration-resistant termination, while deep wire recesses eliminate exposed wire for a safe, professional finish. The Shoc-Krome coating provides corrosion resistance.

What is a T-distribution block used for?

A T-block splits one connection into two (or joins two into one), in a compact T-shaped housing. In car audio, it is commonly used to split a single 8GA power or ground run to two amplifiers, or to extend a ground bus where multiple short ground cables need to connect to a single chassis point.

Can the SPD510 be daisy-chained?

Yes. The daisy-chain design allows multiple SPD510 blocks to be linked together, expanding the number of distribution points for more complex builds.

Is this block fused?

No. The SPD510 is a non-fused T-distribution block. Fusing must be provided externally on the main power run if using this for power distribution.

What gauge wire is compatible with the SPD510?

The SPD510 is rated for 8GA (8 AWG) wire on all three ports. It is not designed for 4GA or 0GA wiring — for larger gauge applications, see the Stinger SHD20 or SHD820 HPM Series distribution blocks.
