A compact power or ground distribution block from the Stinger HPM Series one 1/0GA or 4GA input, two 4GA or 8GA outputs, corrosion-resistant satin chrome finish, protective cover included.
The Stinger SHD20 is an HPM Series power or ground distribution block designed to split one high-gauge power or ground connection into two outputs for multi-amplifier installations. It accepts one 1/0GA or 4GA input and provides two 4GA or 8GA outputs allowing a single battery-to-boot power run to be split cleanly to two separate amplifiers without additional inline fuse holders or crimped connections.
The corrosion-resistant satin chrome finish provides durability and clean aesthetics. A protective cover is included for safety and a professional finished appearance.

What is a power distribution block used for?
A distribution block allows a single large-gauge power cable (from the battery) to be split into multiple smaller-gauge outputs for two or more amplifiers. Rather than running individual power cables from the battery to each amplifier, one 0GA or 4GA run is made to the distribution block, which then splits to each amplifier — reducing cable clutter and voltage drop.
Can this block be used for both power and ground distribution?
Yes. The SHD20 is labelled as a power or ground distribution block — it can be used on either the positive power or ground side of the installation.
What gauge wire do I need to connect to the SHD20?
The input accepts 1/0GA or 4GA wire. The two outputs accept 4GA or 8GA wire. Use the correct gauge crimping terminals or ring connectors to match your wiring.
Is a fuse included?
No. The SHD20 is a passive distribution block — it does not include fusing. Ensure the main power run to the distribution block is fused correctly at the battery with an appropriately rated ANL or MIDI fuse.
Is the protective cover required for installation?
The protective cover is not required electrically but is strongly recommended for safety (preventing accidental short circuits) and for a professional finished appearance. It is included in the kit.
