The Stinger SCVWRT1 is a reverse camera retention adaptor for select Volkswagen (and compatible Audi/Skoda) vehicles, allowing the factory reverse camera to remain operational with an aftermarket head unit.

Critical compatibility note: The SCVWRT1 is only compatible with low-resolution factory cameras using the RGBS video format. It is not compatible with high-resolution factory cameras, which typically have a separate hideaway module and display moving dynamic guidelines in reverse. If your vehicle's reverse camera shows animated/moving guidelines, it is a high-resolution camera and this adaptor will not work with it.

Video noise or lines may occur in some installations when retaining a factory camera with an aftermarket head unit. If this occurs, the PACRPA-VA1 video noise filter (sold separately) is recommended to reduce or eliminate the interference.
