The Stinger SCTYRT4 is a dual-function reverse camera adaptor for select Toyota vehicles fitted with a 4-pin Toyota camera connector at the factory radio. It serves two distinct installation scenarios: retaining the factory OEM reverse camera when replacing the head unit with an aftermarket infotainment system, or adding an aftermarket reverse camera to the existing factory radio without a head unit replacement.

The SCTYRT4 is plug-and-play with the included vehicle harness. However, an important compatibility check is required before installation: some compatible Toyotas have a 6-volt factory camera while others have a 12-volt camera. The voltage must be confirmed by testing the OEM camera power wires before applying power to the harness applying incorrect voltage can damage the factory camera.
