The Stinger SCMBRT2 is a reverse camera retention adaptor designed for use with select Mercedes vehicles featuring a FAKRA camera harness at the factory radio or display. When installing an aftermarket infotainment system, the factory reverse camera signal can be lost the SCMBRT2 bridges that gap by converting the factory FAKRA connection to a male RCA output, allowing the OEM camera to work with a compatible aftermarket head unit.

The kit includes a vehicle harness and is plug-and-play. Compatible vehicles are the Mercedes M Class W164 (2005–2011), Mercedes Sprinter W906 (2014–2016 only see caution below), Mercedes Vito W639 including Viano and Valente (2007–2015), and Mercedes Vito W447 including Viano and Valente (2015–2019). Please note: parking guidelines are not retained on all vehicles, as these are applied by the factory radio rather than the camera itself.
