The Stinger SCHYRT1 is a plug-and-play reverse camera retention adaptor for select Hyundai vehicles fitted with a 24-pin Hyundai-style camera connector. It passes the factory OEM reverse camera signal to a compatible aftermarket head unit without additional wiring.

The SCHYRT1 allows the factory reverse camera in compatible Hyundai vehicles to continue operating after an aftermarket head unit is installed. The adaptor passes the factory camera signal through to the new head unit's RCA reverse camera input without running new camera wiring or splicing. Purpose-built for the 24-pin Hyundai-style connector not compatible with Hyundai vehicles using the 18-pin connector. 

Important: Some Hyundai vehicles use an 18-pin connector rather than the 24-pin connector this adaptor requires. Confirm your vehicle's factory connector style before purchasing. Note: In some installations, video noise or lines may appear in the camera image. Stinger recommends the PACRPA-VA1 video noise filter (sold separately) to reduce or eliminate this where it occurs.
