The Stinger RKXDK is a 6-sheet door-focused pack of Roadkill Expert sound damping material six sheets at 12" × 24" (approx. 30cm × 61cm each) for 12 sq ft of total coverage. It uses the same Roadkill Expert specification proprietary ultra-dense butyl blend bottom layer and 6 mil aluminium top layer as the RKX4 and RKX36B packs.

The RKXDK is sized and marketed specifically for door treatment. At 12 sq ft it provides enough material to treat both front door inner skins in a typical vehicle the most common starting point for Roadkill installations, delivering the most noticeable improvement in speaker bass response and door rattle reduction. Pair with RKFR6 Fast Rings at the speaker mounting point for best results.

Should I use Roadkill Fast Rings at the same time?

Yes — strongly recommended. Treating the door inner skin with the RKXDK addresses panel resonance throughout the door, while the RKFR6 Fast Rings address the acoustic seal specifically around the speaker opening. Used together, the improvement in bass response and audio clarity is significantly greater than either product alone.

Is the RKXDK sufficient for rear doors as well?
