The Stinger MTCHTO-013 is a radio replacement interface designed for retention of the factory OEM amplifier in Chrysler PT Cruiser, Dodge Caliber, and select Jeep models (2005–2011). Compatible with both non-amplified and amplified factory audio systems, it bridges the new aftermarket head unit to the vehicle's electrical and audio systems, retaining a wide range of factory features.
Key retentions include the factory amplifier (with balance and fade preserved), Retained Accessory Power (RAP), audible blind spot detection, and high-level speaker input for amplified systems. Navigation signal outputs (parking brake, reverse, mute, speed sense) are also provided. A pre-wired ASWC-1 harness is included for steering wheel control retention the MTASWC-1 SWC interface is sold separately.
The interface is Micro B USB updatable for future firmware revisions.

Direct Vehicle Fit:
Goes Well With:
Do I need the MTASWC-1 to retain steering wheel controls?
Yes. The MTCHTO-013 includes a pre-wired ASWC-1 harness for convenience, but the MTASWC-1 SWC interface module itself is sold separately and is required to retain factory steering wheel audio controls. Purchase the MTASWC-1 alongside this interface if SWC retention is needed.
Does this interface work with both amplified and non-amplified factory audio systems?
Yes. The MTCHTO-013 is a dual-mode interface compatible with both non-amplified and amplified factory audio configurations in the listed Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep models.
What is Retained Accessory Power (RAP)?
RAP is a factory feature that keeps certain vehicle accessories (such as the radio, windows, and sunroof) powered for a short period after the ignition is switched off. The MTCHTO-013 retains this function so it continues to operate correctly with the aftermarket head unit.
Does this interface retain the blind spot detection warning tones?
Yes. The audible blind spot detection system is retained by the MTCHTO-013, so the warning chimes continue to function after the factory head unit is replaced.
Is this interface firmware updatable?
Yes. The MTCHTO-013 supports firmware updates via a Micro B USB connection, allowing future improvements or compatibility updates to be applied without replacing the unit.
