Designed specifically for Isuzu D-MAX and MU-X models fitted with the factory 7-inch colour screen retains reverse camera, SWC audio buttons, and factory antenna, with brackets and ISO harness all included.

Product Overview

The Stinger HRIZ002 is a vehicle-specific radio replacement kit for the Isuzu D-MAX (2012–2019) and MU-X (2013–2017) models equipped with a factory 7-inch colour screen. It provides a plug-and-play path to fit a major-brand aftermarket head unit while retaining key factory features including the reverse camera, SWC audio buttons, and OEM antenna. An RCA video input to the OEM roof mount screen is also supported where fitted.

This kit is not suitable for:

  • Vehicles with an OE Clarion navigation system
  • Vehicles with a factory-amplified audio system
  • Vehicles with the basic OE CD mechanism head unit (see HRIZ001)

Additional limitations:

  • Factory amplifier is not retained
  • Phone buttons on the steering wheel may not be retained on all models
  • AUX/USB retention is not included — an additional product may be required

How do I know if my D-MAX or MU-X is compatible with the HRIZ002?

The HRIZ002 suits D-MAX and MU-X models fitted with the factory 7-inch colour screen. It is not compatible with vehicles fitted with the OE Clarion navigation system, factory-amplified audio, or the basic CD mechanism head unit. If you are unsure of your variant, contact the F.A.E. team to confirm before purchasing.

Will my factory reverse camera be retained?

Yes. The HRIZ002 includes a reverse camera retention interface, so your factory reverse camera will remain operational with your new aftermarket head unit.

Will all my steering wheel buttons work after installation?

The SWC audio buttons are retained with select aftermarket radios. However, phone buttons on the steering wheel may not be retained on all vehicle models. Fader control is not retained. Confirm SWC compatibility with your chosen head unit before purchasing.

Does this kit work with my OEM roof mount screen?

Yes. The HRIZ002 supports an RCA video input to the OEM roof mount screen where fitted, allowing you to send video from your aftermarket head unit to the factory overhead screen.

Is AUX or USB retention included?

No. The HRIZ002 does not include AUX or USB retention. If you need to retain factory AUX or USB connectivity, an additional retention module will need to be purchased separately.
