We celebrate the birth of the STEDI™ EVO Light Bar, one year after the arrival of the TYPE-X™ EVO LED Driving Light. Injected with a decade of ideas, refinements, and improvements, we have yet again set our sights beyond typical shapes by creating the STEDI™ EVO family, redefining auxiliary driving lights across the whole category. They say good genes run in the family and the EVO Light Bar is no exception. Driving design and innovation forward with an incredible beam throw and an optional DRL, the EVO Light Bar turns typical weaknesses of a light bar into strengths we’ve never seen before. Pairing expertly crafted details with superior materials, the upholstery represents a new category of greatness.
A POWERHOUSE OF PERFORMANCE.
EVO Light Bar is a whole new level of explosive performance. One defined by minimalistic design, technological innovations, and a blatant refusal to compromise. With high performance, often comes high power. Requiring its unique harness (included), EVO Light Bar has a high-power draw, housing 36 CREE LEDs that throw light in a way we’ve never seen before due to updated reflector technology. Is 960M of light being thrown down the road from a 22" light bar? That's unheard of. EVO Light Bar offers a formidable combination of spread and spot beam patterns illuminating the road ahead. Aligning with its siblings in the EVO series, the EVO Light Bar features a 5000 Kelvin temperature, reducing glare on road signs while providing a soft, consistent light output.
THE DEVIL IN THE DETAILS.
Inspired by our flagship Type-X™ EVO Driving Lights, the EVO Light Bar embodies similar characteristics and the same unique silhouette you now know and love. We are introducing integrated optional side DRLs that seamlessly accentuate the iconic silhouette of the EVO family. EVO Light Bar also offers an extensive range of customisation options tailored to enhance the aesthetic of your vehicle including brushed stainless coloured fascia, a custom key that effortlessly removes the fascia (doubling as a bottle opener), staple STEDI™ Black Out Cover, and optional STEDI™ Carbon Fibre Print Covers and amber lenses.
The EVO Light Bar was initially conceived as a product that our engineers had long contemplated. The design process involved meticulous attention to every detail, with a focus on creating a product that not only meets but exceeds our expectations and those of our customers.
THE NITTY GRITTY.
One of the prominent features of EVO Light Bar is the innovative mounting bracket system, which provides a variety of mounting solutions. Our team of engineers and designers re-imagined traditional mounting configurations for medium-sized light bars, resulting in a revamped heat sink design. This adaptation now allows for tube-style mounting positions, ensuring a steadfast and dependable installation.
In order to provide enhanced mounting flexibility, a selection of tube-style clamps are available in three different sizes to accommodate a wide range of fitments. These optional brackets have been carefully selected to cater to a diverse array of tube-style mounting requirements and come equipped with rubber inserts to assist with minimising vibration.
Rigorous testing was conducted to guarantee that this new engineering approach could withstand harsh climates and any potential impacts on the overall performance. Upon un-boxing, the EVO Light Bar is packaged with stainless steel side mounting brackets, for traditional mounting, and all the adequate hardware and wiring that is needed for initial installation. Additional wiring and switching may be required.
The stainless-steel mounting brackets and polycarbonate lens material ensure durability and longevity, even in the harshest of outback conditions. The ease of installation of the EVO Light Bar makes it a versatile choice for a wide range of vehicles, from trucks to off-road rigs.
