Rockford Fosgate RFK8 8 AWG Power Installation Kit

Undersized power wire makes an amplifier run hot and cut out when the bass hits. The Rockford Fosgate RFK8 gives you full spec 8 AWG power and ground cable plus the fuse holder for one amp.

Problems it solves

• Cheap kits with thin copper hidden in thick insulation. Rockford says the RFK8 meets or exceeds AWG specification: 8.36mm² with 735 strands.
• A power run with no fuse near the battery. An AGU fuse holder and fuse are part of the kit.
• Running short of remote wire on a boot install. 20ft of remote turn on wire comes in the pack.

Fitment and compatibility

Made for a single amplifier install. It is not a dual amp kit, and Rockford lists no speaker wire with it.

Install notes

Mount the fuse holder close to the battery positive. Keep the ground short and bolted to bare metal.
