The Rockford Fosgate RFFANL is an inline ANL or Maxi fuse holder accepting 1/0 AWG or 4 AWG wire custom-tooled solid brass with HPP (High Performance Plating) platinum finish. Designed for the main power run from the battery to high-power amplifiers or distribution blocks, the RFFANL provides the overcurrent protection required on 1/0 AWG positive cable runs. Accepts both ANL-style and Maxi-style fuses, covering the two common high-current fuse formats used in car audio main power runs.

ANL fuses are large blade-style fuses used in high-current car audio main runs — typically available from 80A to 300A or higher. Maxi fuses are a different blade style covering a similar amperage range. The RFFANL accepts both formats — confirm which format is more readily available for your system's required amperage from your local supplier.
1/0 AWG and 4 AWG — confirmed in the product description. For 4 AWG or 8 AWG branch runs, use the RFFAGU (AGU-style) fuse holder instead.
The RFFANL accepts 1/0 AWG or 4 AWG wire and uses ANL or Maxi fuses — for main power runs. The RFFAGU accepts 4 AWG or 8 AWG wire and uses AGU fuses — for secondary branch runs. The RFFANL is the larger format holder, appropriate for the higher currents of a main battery-to-amplifier run.
"Waterproof" is not stated for the RFFANL — unlike the RFFAGU which is explicitly described as waterproof. Confirm from the official Rockford Fosgate RFFANL product page whether a waterproof rating applies.
