Product Overview

The Rockford Fosgate PMX-3 is a compact digital media receiver designed specifically for marine and motorsport environments where protection from the elements is essential. The 2.7" full-colour TFT display is optically wet-bonded to prevent dust and moisture penetration and features a day/night display mode for readability in all lighting conditions, including full sun. A waterproof rotary encoder volume control, tactile convex buttons, white LED button illumination, and front panel subwoofer level control complete the weather-ready control interface.

The PMX-3 includes a built-in 4 x 25W RMS (CEA-2006) amplifier stable to 2 Ohm, with front and rear/subwoofer RCA preamp outputs at 2V RMS for connecting external amplifiers. The SiriusXM-ready tuner supports the SXV300 module (sold separately) with colour channel logos and 18 channel presets. Bluetooth audio streaming (A2DP v1.4, 3.0+EDR) supports album art display from connected iPhones and folder browsing via BT. Pandora control is available via Apple direct USB or Bluetooth/Android. A dedicated DSP per zone provides 7-band graphic EQ, Punch EQ, selectable crossover points, and adjustable input gain per source.

The PMX-3 includes a direct composite video input with external reverse trigger for reverse camera activation, rear AUX input, and rear USB with 1A charging. Firmware and Bluetooth software are upgradeable via USB. Wired remote support covers up to 3 remotes (PMX-1R or PMX-0R, sold separately) with up to 100ft total wired distance. Is SiriusXM included or does it require an additional module?
