The Rockford Fosgate P3V2-25 is the dedicated midrange driver for the Punch P3 3-way component system, designed for vehicles equipped with separate tweeter, midrange, and woofer speaker locations. Two crossover options are included for different system configurations. The external bandpass (BP) crossover operates at 600Hz-6kHz at 6dB/octave for use in a full 3-way active crossover configuration where the midrange driver receives the correct band-pass filtered signal. The bass blocker crossover is a 33µF non-polarised capacitor providing a simple 1200Hz 6dB/octave highpass filter for applications where a full bandpass crossover is not used, protecting the midrange driver from excessive low-frequency excursion.
