Product features

The Revolution 10-90000 is a complete 12V dual battery kit built around a sealed 140A voltage sensitive relay, with cable, battery terminals, lugs and zip ties to wire in a second battery.

Run a fridge off the starting battery overnight and you may wake to a car that will not crank. A voltage sensitive relay links the second battery only while the alternator is charging, then separates it so the starter battery is left alone.

How it switches

  • Cuts in at 13.2V, when the engine is charging
  • Cuts out at 12.7V, isolating the starter battery
  • Over voltage cut off at 15.5V
  • Override connection to start from the second battery (toggle switch not supplied)

In the kit

  • 1 x 12V 140A voltage sensitive relay, fully sealed against dust and moisture
  • 6m of red 8 B&S cable
  • 0.6m of black 6 B&S cable
  • 2 x positive wing nut battery terminals
  • 1 x negative wing nut battery terminal
  • 3 x spare lugs
  • 6 x 300mm zip ties

Install notes

No dash LED indicator is included. Plan the cable route before cutting, and add circuit protection at each battery. Smart alternator vehicles may need a DC to DC charger instead, so ask us first.

Frequently asked questions

Does it include a switch for the override?

No. The override connection is there, but the toggle switch is not supplied.

Is 6m of cable enough?

It suits most engine bay to canopy or tub runs, and spare lugs let you cut it to length.

Is there a dash light to show it is linked?

No. The kit does not include a dash LED indicator.
