The TPH-007 connects directly to the factory towing package connector behind the vehicle's dash in supported US-specification Ford and Lincoln models. One end plugs into the Tow-Pro brake controller connector and the other connects to the factory-fitted connector. No cutting or splicing is required for Tow-Pro Elite installations. The harness is also compatible with the Tow-Pro Classic, though a small modification is required as the Tow-Pro Classic does not have a mating connector and needs bare wires inserted into the brake controller.
