SBI224 is a 200A smart solenoid isolator for 24V dual battery systems. The start battery is protected: the isolator only connects when charging voltage is present and lets go when it drops.

Fusing called for: input fuse 200A and output fuse 200A. Rated current sits at 200A. Left idle it draws under 5mA. Inrush rating is 600A. Output is 24V DC. Pair it with the FK100 fuse kit. Weight is 600 g. It links the batteries at 26.4V and drops out at 25.4V. Overall it is 95 mm wide, 90 mm high and 100 mm long.

A solenoid has almost no voltage drop, unlike a diode isolator, and it opens when voltage falls so accessories cannot drain the start battery.
