Product features

The Redarc 25A Charge Equaliser (CE25S2) is designed to manage a high current, 12 volt supply in a 24 volt vehicle.

The Redarc 25A Charge Equaliser allows 12 volts to be 'tapped' from the centre of a series connected, two battery, 24 volt DC electrical system while still giving an equal charge across the two batteries. This is particularly useful when space or cost prohibits the installation of a separate 12 volt battery. The CE25 has a maximum 25A output and offers improved functionality, reduced installation complexity and features input isolation, negating the need for an input relay or isolator.

Key figures Redarc publishes for the CE25: no load current <100mA, standby current <10mA, operating temperature minus 20°C to 80°C, input voltage 20 to 32V, output voltage 6 to 16V, maximum rated output current 25A. It measures 120 x 37 x 150 mm (width x height x length), and it weighs 680 g.
