The Redarc BCDC Core25 is a 12V 25A in-cabin DC-DC battery charger with MPPT solar regulator and Green Power Priority. It charges from DC (alternator) and solar simultaneously. Lithium (LiFePO4) compatible. Compact, fanless design for in-cabin, canopy, or battery box installation. Bare wire connection. 120mm x 165mm x 37mm, 900g. Not suitable for engine bay installation. Australian designed and manufactured. 2-year warranty.
Important: The BCDC Core25 is suitable for in-cabin and canopy installations only. It is not suitable for engine bay installation. For engine bay DC-DC charging, see the Redarc BCDC Classic range.
The BCDC Core25 is the next generation of Redarc's BCDC platform, designed for in-cabin, canopy, and battery box setups where dust and weatherproofing is not required. The MPPT solar regulator and Green Power Priority work together to charge from both the alternator and solar simultaneously, maximising charge rate while minimising alternator load. Chemistry-specific charging profiles cover AGM, gel, standard lead acid, calcium, and lithium (LiFePO4). The compact fanless design allows the BCDC Core25 to be concealed under rear floors, behind side panels, or under seats for a clean installation. Suitable for battery banks of 60-200Ah for AGM and lead acid, and up to 100Ah for lithium. For battery banks over 200Ah, Redarc recommends the BCDC Core 40A. Suits 12V/24V standard and variable voltage/smart alternators. An input fuse rated at 40A and output fuse rated at 60A are required for installation — neither is supplied; Redarc recommends the FK40 and FK60 respectively. Australian designed, tested, and manufactured.
25A simultaneous DC and solar charging with Green Power Priority: Charges from alternator and solar at the same time, maximising charge rate and minimising alternator load.

Compact fanless design: No fan noise, small 120mm x 165mm x 37mm footprint for concealed in-cabin installation.
Lithium (LiFePO4) compatible: Chemistry-specific charging profiles for AGM, gel, standard lead acid, calcium, and lithium batteries.
Suits 12V/24V standard and variable voltage/smart alternators.
Bare wire connection: Flexible wiring for clean custom installations.
In-cabin and canopy installation only: Not suitable for engine bay installation.
Suits battery banks of 60-200Ah (AGM/lead acid) and up to 100Ah (lithium).
Australian designed, tested, and manufactured.
2-year warranty.

What is the difference between the BCDC Core25 and the BCDC Alpha25? The BCDC Core25 is designed for in-cabin and canopy installations only, has no IP weatherproof rating, and uses a bare wire connection without Bluetooth connectivity. The BCDC Alpha25 carries IP67/69K protection, is engine bay suitable, supports RedVision Bluetooth monitoring, and has a wider operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Both deliver 25A.
What size battery bank does the BCDC Core25 suit? The BCDC Core25 suits battery banks of 60-200Ah for AGM and lead acid batteries, and up to 100Ah for lithium. For banks over 200Ah, Redarc recommends the BCDC Core 40A.
Does the BCDC Core25 include a fuse? No. An input fuse (40A) and output fuse (60A) are required for installation but are not supplied. Redarc recommends the FK40 for the input and FK60 for the output.
Can the BCDC Core25 be installed in the engine bay? No. The BCDC Core25 is suitable for in-cabin and canopy installations only. For engine bay DC-DC charging, contact us about the Redarc BCDC Classic range.
Does the BCDC Core25 work with smart alternators? Yes. The BCDC Core25 suits 12V and 24V standard and variable voltage/smart alternators.
