Fitting it

Fit the case from one top corner and work round to the bottom. To mount, line it up with a Quad Lock head and twist a quarter turn, or hold it near a MAG head and the magnets do the rest.

Will the QMC-PIX9XL fit the Pixel 9?

No. This MAG case is shaped for the Pixel 9 Pro XL only. The Pixel 9 has a different body and camera layout, so it needs QMC-PIX9 instead.

How do I check my phone is a Pixel 9 Pro XL before ordering the QMC-PIX9XL?

Go to Settings, About phone, then Model. It has a 6.8 inch screen. It came out in 2024. If it shows Pixel 9 Pro XL, the QMC-PIX9XL is the right MAG case.

My Pixel 9 Pro XL has no MagSafe style magnets. Will MAG mounts still hold it?

Yes. The QMC-PIX9XL has its own magnets in the MAG ring on the back, so a MAG mount holds your Pixel 9 Pro XL through the case, not through the phone. It still twist locks onto every standard Quad Lock mount too.

Is there a matching screen protector for the Pixel 9 Pro XL?

Yes, the Quad Lock ANX-GSP-PIX9XL tempered glass protector. It is cut to sit under this case.

How heavy is the QMC-PIX9XL?

Quad Lock lists the QMC-PIX9XL at about 79g, so it adds very little to your Pixel 9 Pro XL.

Will my Pixel 9 Pro XL still charge wirelessly in the QMC-PIX9XL?

Yes. The QMC-PIX9XL is made to work with wireless chargers, so your Pixel 9 Pro XL still charges through it, including on the Quad Lock wireless charging heads.
