Fitting it

Fit the case from one top corner and work round to the bottom. To mount, line it up with a Quad Lock head and twist a quarter turn, or hold it near a MAG head and the magnets do the rest.

Will the QMC-PIX9A fit the Pixel 9?

No. This MAG case is shaped for the Pixel 9a only. The Pixel 9 has a different body and camera layout, so it needs QMC-PIX9 instead.

How do I check my phone is a Pixel 9a before ordering the QMC-PIX9A?

Go to Settings, About phone, then Model. It has a 6.3 inch screen. It came out in 2025. If it shows Pixel 9a, the QMC-PIX9A is the right MAG case.

My Pixel 9a has no MagSafe style magnets. Will MAG mounts still hold it?

Yes. The QMC-PIX9A has its own magnets in the MAG ring on the back, so a MAG mount holds your Pixel 9a through the case, not through the phone. It still twist locks onto every standard Quad Lock mount too.

Is there a matching screen protector for the Pixel 9a?

Yes, the Quad Lock ANX-GSP-PIX9A tempered glass protector. It is cut to sit under this case.

How heavy is the QMC-PIX9A?

Quad Lock lists the QMC-PIX9A at about 76g, so it adds very little to your Pixel 9a.

Will my Pixel 9a still charge wirelessly in the QMC-PIX9A?

Yes. The QMC-PIX9A is made to work with wireless chargers, so your Pixel 9a still charges through it, including on the Quad Lock wireless charging heads.
