Fitting it

Fit the case from one top corner and work round to the bottom. To mount, line it up with a Quad Lock head and twist a quarter turn, or hold it near a MAG head and the magnets do the rest.

Will the QMC-PIX8PRO fit the Pixel 8?

No. This MAG case is shaped for the Pixel 8 Pro only. The Pixel 8 has a different body and camera layout, so it needs QMC-PIX8 instead.

How do I check my phone is a Pixel 8 Pro before ordering the QMC-PIX8PRO?

Go to Settings, About phone, then Model. It has a 6.7 inch screen. It came out in 2023. If it shows Pixel 8 Pro, the QMC-PIX8PRO is the right MAG case.

My Pixel 8 Pro has no MagSafe style magnets. Will MAG mounts still hold it?

Yes. The QMC-PIX8PRO has its own magnets in the MAG ring on the back, so a MAG mount holds your Pixel 8 Pro through the case, not through the phone. It still twist locks onto every standard Quad Lock mount too.

Is there a matching screen protector for the Pixel 8 Pro?

Yes, the Quad Lock ANX-GSP-PIX8PRO TPU film protector. It is cut to sit under this case.

How heavy is the QMC-PIX8PRO?

Quad Lock lists the QMC-PIX8PRO at about 75g, so it adds very little to your Pixel 8 Pro.

Will my Pixel 8 Pro still charge wirelessly in the QMC-PIX8PRO?

Yes. The QMC-PIX8PRO is made to work with wireless chargers, so your Pixel 8 Pro still charges through it, including on the Quad Lock wireless charging heads.
