Fitting it

Fit the case from one top corner and work round to the bottom. To mount, line it up with a Quad Lock head and twist a quarter turn, or hold it near a MAG head and the magnets do the rest.

Questions we get asked

Will the QMC-IPX fit the iPhone XR?

No. This MAG case is shaped for the iPhone X/XS only. The iPhone XR has a different body and camera layout, so it needs QMC-IPZ instead.

How do I check my phone is an iPhone X/XS before ordering the QMC-IPX?

Go to Settings, General, About, then look at Model Name. It has a 5.8 inch screen. It came out in 2017. If it shows iPhone X/XS, the QMC-IPX is the right MAG case.

My iPhone X/XS has no MagSafe style magnets. Will MAG mounts still hold it?

Yes. The QMC-IPX has its own magnets in the MAG ring on the back, so a MAG mount holds your iPhone X/XS through the case, not through the phone. It still twist locks onto every standard Quad Lock mount too.

Is there a screen protector that fits under the QMC-IPX?

Yes. The Quad Lock ANX-GSP-IPX tempered glass protector suits the iPhone X/XS and is cut to sit under the QMC-IPX.

How heavy is the QMC-IPX?

Quad Lock lists the QMC-IPX at about 56g, so it adds very little to your iPhone X/XS.

Will my iPhone X/XS still charge wirelessly in the QMC-IPX?

Yes. The QMC-IPX is made to work with wireless chargers, so your iPhone X/XS still charges through it, including on the Quad Lock wireless charging heads.
