Fitting it

Fit the case from one top corner and work round to the bottom. To mount, line it up with a Quad Lock head and twist a quarter turn, or hold it near a MAG head and the magnets do the rest.

Will the QMC-IP17S fit the iPhone 17 Pro?

No. This MAG case is shaped for the iPhone 17 only. The iPhone 17 Pro has a different body and camera layout, so it needs QMC-IP17M instead.

How do I check my phone is an iPhone 17 before ordering the QMC-IP17S?

Go to Settings, General, About, then look at Model Name. It has a 6.3 inch screen. It came out in 2025. If it shows iPhone 17, the QMC-IP17S is the right MAG case.

My iPhone 17 has MagSafe. Will MAG mounts still hold it?

Yes. The QMC-IP17S has its own magnets in the MAG ring on the back, so a MAG mount holds your iPhone 17 through the case, not through the phone. It still twist locks onto every standard Quad Lock mount too.

Is there a matching screen protector for the iPhone 17?

Yes, the Quad Lock ANX-GSP-IP17S tempered glass protector. It is cut to sit under this case.

How heavy is the QMC-IP17S?

Quad Lock lists the QMC-IP17S at about 60g, so it adds very little to your iPhone 17.

Will my iPhone 17 still charge wirelessly in the QMC-IP17S?

Yes. The QMC-IP17S is made to work with wireless chargers, so your iPhone 17 still charges through it, including on the Quad Lock wireless charging heads.
