Fitting it

Fit the case from one top corner and work round to the bottom. To mount, line it up with a Quad Lock head and twist a quarter turn, or hold it near a MAG head and the magnets do the rest.

How do I check my phone is an iPhone Air before ordering the QMC-IP17L?

Go to Settings, General, About, then look at Model Name. It has a 6.5 inch screen. It came out in 2025. If it shows iPhone Air, the QMC-IP17L is the right MAG case.

My iPhone Air has MagSafe. Will MAG mounts still hold it?

Yes. The QMC-IP17L has its own magnets in the MAG ring on the back, so a MAG mount holds your iPhone Air through the case, not through the phone. It still twist locks onto every standard Quad Lock mount too.

Is there a matching screen protector for the iPhone Air?

Yes, the Quad Lock ANX-GSP-IP17L tempered glass protector. It is cut to sit under this case.

How heavy is the QMC-IP17L?

Quad Lock lists the QMC-IP17L at about 65g, so it adds very little to your iPhone Air.

Will my iPhone Air still charge wirelessly in the QMC-IP17L?

Yes. The QMC-IP17L is made to work with wireless chargers, so your iPhone Air still charges through it, including on the Quad Lock wireless charging heads.
