Fitting it

Fit the case from one top corner and work round to the bottom. To mount, line it up with a Quad Lock head and twist a quarter turn, or hold it near a MAG head and the magnets do the rest.

Will the QMC-IP12S fit the iPhone 12?

No. This MAG case is shaped for the iPhone 12 mini only. The iPhone 12 has a different body and camera layout, so it needs QMC-IP12M instead.

How do I check my phone is an iPhone 12 mini before ordering the QMC-IP12S?

Go to Settings, General, About, then look at Model Name. It has a 5.4 inch screen. It came out in 2020. If it shows iPhone 12 mini, the QMC-IP12S is the right MAG case.

My iPhone 12 mini has MagSafe. Will MAG mounts still hold it?

Yes. The QMC-IP12S has its own magnets in the MAG ring on the back, so a MAG mount holds your iPhone 12 mini through the case, not through the phone. It still twist locks onto every standard Quad Lock mount too.

Is there a matching screen protector for the iPhone 12 mini?

Yes, the Quad Lock ANX-GSP-IP12S tempered glass protector. It is cut to sit under this case.

How heavy is the QMC-IP12S?

Quad Lock lists the QMC-IP12S at about 60g, so it adds very little to your iPhone 12 mini.

Will my iPhone 12 mini still charge wirelessly in the QMC-IP12S?

Yes. The QMC-IP12S is made to work with wireless chargers, so your iPhone 12 mini still charges through it, including on the Quad Lock wireless charging heads.
