Product features

Quick answer: The Quad Lock 30W Power Adaptor is a USB-C Power Delivery wall charger with an Australian Type I plug. It gives Quad Lock wireless charging heads and desk chargers the power they need to charge at full speed.

The problem it fixes

Wireless chargers are only as quick as the plug behind them. An old 5W cube leaves your phone crawling, so a proper USB-C PD adaptor is the fix.

Why buy it

  • 30W maximum over USB-C Power Delivery
  • Australian Type I plug, no travel adaptor needed
  • Enough output for Quad Lock charging gear that draws up to 15W
  • Also fast charges phones and tablets by cable

Will it fit my setup?

  • Uses a USB-C to USB-C cable
  • Suits Quad Lock wireless charging heads and desktop chargers
  • Works with most USB-C phones, tablets and earbuds

Fitting it

Plug it into a standard Australian power point, connect your USB-C cable and plug the other end into your Quad Lock charger or device.

What's in the box

  • 1 x Quad Lock 30W USB-C Power Adaptor, AU plug
  • Our supplier lists a 1.5m USB-C to USB-C cable with this adaptor. Quad Lock does not list it on their own page, so ask us if you need the cable confirmed

What else you need

A USB-C to USB-C cable if your kit does not include one.

Browse the Quad Lock USB-C to USB-C Cable 1.5m, or pair it with the Quad Lock Wireless Charging Head.

Questions we get asked

Will this charge my phone quickly on a Quad Lock wireless head?

Yes, it has more than enough output for Quad Lock wireless charging. Note that iPhones charge at up to 7.5W on standard Qi heads.

Does it have a USB-A port?

No, it has a single USB-C port. For USB-A cables look at the 18W QLA-PWB-AU.

Can I charge a laptop with it?

Small USB-C laptops that accept 30W will charge, slowly. It is designed around phones and Quad Lock chargers.

Is the plug Australian?

Yes, it has the Type I plug used in Australia and New Zealand.

What voltage range does it accept?

100 to 240V AC, so it also works overseas with a plug adaptor.
