Quad Lock® QLA-ACA-2 Quad Lock to Action Camera Adaptor for GoPro, Cameras and Lights

$24.99

Product features

Quick answer: The Quad Lock to Action Camera Adaptor lets a GoPro, action camera or compatible light twist and lock onto the Quad Lock mounts you already own. It takes cameras with a base up to 65mm wide and up to 150g.

The problem it fixes

Running one mount for the phone and another for the camera clutters the bars and the dash, and moving gear between vehicles means buying more mounts again. Fit this adaptor to the camera and it uses the same Quad Lock mounts as your phone. Twist it on, twist it off and move it to the next mount.

Why buy it

  • Uses your existing Quad Lock mounts for the camera
  • Swap the camera between mounts quickly
  • Large range of camera tilt from the offset mount
  • Ergonomic thumb screw tightens by hand
  • Polycarbonate body with stainless steel hardware

Will it fit my setup?

  • GoPro, action cameras and compatible lights
  • Camera base up to 65mm wide
  • Maximum load 150g
  • Quad Lock recommends using it with a Lever Head
  • Not recommended with the Quad Lock Vibration Dampener, as it may increase camera shake

Fitting it

Line up the camera mount with the adaptor, push the M5 thumb screw through and tighten it by hand. Then twist the adaptor onto a Quad Lock mount until it locks.

What's in the box

  • 1 x Quad Lock To Action Camera Adaptor
  • 1 x M5 Thumb Screw

What else you need

A Quad Lock mount, ideally with a Lever Head.

Questions we get asked

Does the Quad Lock Action Camera Adaptor fit a GoPro?

Yes. It suits GoPro and other action cameras with a base up to 65mm wide and a weight up to 150g, plus compatible lights.

Which Quad Lock mount is best for an action camera?

One with a Lever Head. Quad Lock recommends Lever Heads with this adaptor for secure mounting.

Can I use the Action Camera Adaptor with a Quad Lock Vibration Dampener?

Quad Lock does not recommend it, as the dampener may increase camera shake in your footage.

Is the Quad Lock Action Camera Adaptor the same as the 360 Action Camera Head?

No. This adaptor twists onto any Quad Lock mount. The 360 Action Camera Head QLP-360-ACA-2 screws straight onto a Quad Lock 360 Arm or Base in place of the head.

Can I mount a bike light with the Quad Lock Action Camera Adaptor?

Yes, if the light uses an action camera style mount, has a base no wider than 65mm and weighs 150g or less.
