The Projecta CL38-2 is the Cable Lug 50 mm² Cable, 10 mm Stud, Blister of 2. A blister of 2 of tinned copper lugs for 50 mm², 0 B and S cable with a 10 mm stud hole.
A blister of two covers both ends of a single cable. The barrel bore is 9.5 mm, matched to the cable size.
Tinned copper, a long barrel that takes a double crimp, and a flared entry so strands do not snag.
Use a proper hex or indent crimper sized for the cable, then heat shrink the barrel.
Use red and black heat shrink to mark polarity at each end. Keep lugs in a sealed tub so they stay bright until used. Strip only enough insulation for the barrel, so no bare copper shows past the joint. Match the lug to both the cable and the stud; a loose fit on either costs voltage. A tug test after crimping tells you straight away if the joint is sound. Use cable rated for the current and length of the run, and fuse it close to the battery. See the rest of the Projecta range for matching parts.
This comes with the manufacturer's warranty through the Australian distributor. See the manufacturer's terms for details, plus our guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
It is made for a 10 mm stud.
Projecta lists 50 mm², 0 B and S, with a barrel internal diameter of 9.5 mm.
The name lists 2, sold as a blister of 2.
Crimp it with a tool rated for the cable size; the long shank allows a double crimp. Heat shrink over the barrel finishes the job.
