The CL21-50 lug suits 10 mm², 8 B and S cable and an 8 mm stud, pack of 50.
The CL21-50 lug suits 10 mm², 8 B and S cable and an 8 mm stud, pack of 50. Fifty in the pack makes it a workshop quantity for building starter and dual battery leads. Barrel internal diameter is 4.5 mm.
Tinned copper, a long barrel that takes a double crimp, and a flared entry so strands do not snag. A hammer crimp will work in a pinch, a hydraulic or ratchet crimper does it properly.
This one is listed as black, on a straight barrel.
A tug test after crimping tells you straight away if the joint is sound. Strip only enough insulation for the barrel, so no bare copper shows past the joint. Match the lug to both the cable and the stud; a loose fit on either costs voltage. Keep lugs in a sealed tub so they stay bright until used. Use red and black heat shrink to mark polarity at each end. Keep the battery top clean and dry; grime can let current track across between the posts. See the rest of the Projecta range for matching parts.
This comes with the manufacturer's warranty through the Australian distributor. See the manufacturer's terms for details, plus our guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
It is made for an 8 mm stud.
Projecta lists 10 mm², 8 B and S, with a barrel internal diameter of 4.5 mm.
The name lists 50, sold as a pack of 50.
Crimp it with a tool rated for the cable size; the long shank allows a double crimp. Heat shrink over the barrel finishes the job.
