The Projecta BT950-P1 is the Fused Battery Distribution Terminal, 3 Outlets. Three fused outlets straight off the positive post, for 4WDs and caravans with several accessories or a dual battery system.
It takes Midival fuses at 30A and 60A, Megaval at 100A, 150A and 250A, and a CAL2 fuse, all sold separately as BT950 parts. Choose each fuse to protect the cable on that outlet.
Disconnect the negative before fitting it to the positive post.
A fuse protects the cable, so choose the rating with the cable size in mind. Carry the right spare ratings with the vehicle. Label each outlet so the right fuse is easy to find later. Mount fuses as close to the battery as practical, so the whole cable run is protected. Check that every bolt is tight and nothing can rub through insulation once the job is finished. Wear eye protection around batteries, as the acid and gases are hazardous. A loose or dirty connection can look like a flat battery or a failing alternator. Related parts are in the Projecta range.
This comes with the manufacturer's warranty through the Australian distributor. See the manufacturer's terms for details, plus our guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
Projecta lists 30A and 60A Midival, 100A, 150A and 250A Megaval, and a CAL2 fuse.
The fuses are listed as separate BT950 parts, so order the ratings you need.
Three fused outlets; Projecta says the CAL2 fuse allows a starter motor or winch load.
